A room full of micro pigs a lane away from Takeshita Street: at mipig cafe Harajuku you sit down on one of the low log stools and, within a few minutes, a warm little pig has decided your lap is the best bed in the house. You get an hour in the pigs' room with free-flow drinks, mipig's own donut and a postcard to take away at the end. The micro pigs have the run of the place, and when one likes the look of your lap — they usually do — it climbs up, curls into a ball and falls asleep while you take photos or just enjoy the company.
