Tokyo Skytree Observation Decks

Tokyo Skytree is Japan's tallest structure — 634 metres over the city, with two observation decks to choose between. The Tembo Deck at 350 metres wraps you in floor-to-ceiling glass, and the Tembo Galleria climbs a spiralling skywalk to 450 metres, where glass floors and walls put the city directly beneath your feet; on a clear day the view runs all the way to Mt. Fuji. Seasonal decorations and character collaborations rotate through the year, and the tower rises straight out of Tokyo Skytree Town in Sumida, a couple of train stops from Asakusa.

The Tembo Deck at 350 metres is the main event — three storeys of floor-to-ceiling views. The Tembo Galleria takes you 100 metres higher up a spiralling glass skywalk to the tower's highest point. If the sky is clear, going all the way up is worth it; in haze, the Deck alone delivers the experience.
The tower has its own station — Tokyo Skytree Station on the Tobu Skytree Line, a couple of minutes from Asakusa — and Oshiage Station on the Hanzomon and Asakusa subway lines sits directly beneath it. The entrance is on the 4th floor of the Tokyo Solamachi complex at the tower's base.
