Shibuya Sky Observation Deck

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Shibuya Crossing seen from directly above, pedestrians streaming across the diagonal stripes between neon-covered buildings, buses queued along the station road

Shibuya Sky is Tokyo's most spectacular open-air observation deck, 229 metres above the Shibuya scramble crossing. From the rooftop of Shibuya Scramble Square the view runs a full 360° — the Shinjuku skyline, Tokyo Skytree, Yoyogi Park and Tokyo Bay, with Mt. Fuji on the horizon on a clear day. Sunset is the hour everyone comes for, when the city turns from daylight to neon beneath you.
