Solaniwa Onsen turns the base of Osaka Bay Tower into the largest hot spring theme park in western Japan, its lantern-lit streets styled after the Azuchi-Momoyama period. You change into a yukata and drift between nine kinds of baths — open-air tubs among them — all fed by 100% natural spring water drawn from 1,000 metres underground. Between soaks there's a Japanese rooftop garden with an outdoor foot bath, izakaya-style dining and live entertainment, so an afternoon here unfolds like a small festival.

It sits at the base of Osaka Bay Tower, right at Bentencho Station — served by the JR Osaka Loop Line and the Osaka Metro Chuo Line — so it's a few minutes from Osaka Station or the Kaiyukan aquarium area. The station connects to the tower complex directly.
