Fu Fu no Yu is Arashiyama's natural hot-spring bathhouse, a short walk from Hankyu Arashiyama Station on the quiet south bank of the Katsura River. Indoor and open-air baths are fed by the Arashiyama Onsen spring, with a cold plunge, steam room and sauna to cycle through between soaks as the mineral water works the day's soreness out of your legs. It's the classic close to a day in Arashiyama — bamboo grove, temples and riverside walked, muscles eased before the ride back into central Kyoto.
