Hiroshima Toyo Carp Baseball Game

No city in Japan loves its team like Hiroshima loves the Carp: founded in 1950 and famously rebuilt on citizens' donations, the club turns Mazda Zoom-Zoom Stadium into a sea of red on game nights. The open-air ballpark was modelled on Major League parks — a 360-degree concourse that lets you circle the field mid-inning, lawn seats, barbecue terraces and local-beer stands included — and it stands ten minutes' walk from Hiroshima Station. Come for the baseball, stay for the choreography: synchronised chants for every batter and the roar when the home nine take the field.
