mipig cafe Fukuoka paints its pig room as a stretch of open countryside — rolling green hills, a cottage archway, a wooden signpost and a great round clock above it all — and then lets the micro pigs loose across the grass. Sit down on one of the log stools with a drink and give it a minute: one of them will pick your lap, climb up and fall asleep on it. It is a soft, cheering hour in the middle of Daimyo, a couple of streets off Tenjin's shopping crossroads.
