Step into Okinawa's natural world at Neo Park, a sprawling open-air park and botanical garden in the heart of Nago. Flamingo Lake greets you with a crowd of free-flying birds, and the paths beyond recreate the Amazon jungle, the African savannah, Southeast Asia and Oceania — thousands of plant and animal species living in near-natural habitats. Children can hand-feed the park's rare birds and animals, meet the petting zoo's residents or ride the miniature train around the grounds, which makes it one of northern Okinawa's easiest days out for the whole family.
